Your responsibilities

As a software developer for the Finance Product in the group, you will be part of a self-organised agile team responsible for the design, implementation, configuration and support of software solutions used across all of CERN.

Your day-to-day job will involve:
  • testing and documenting the solutions the team develops;
  • providing support for the final users;
  • participating in knowledge sharing activities with your team;
  • continuously improve the team\\\'s processes and dynamics in order to meet the objectives and service level agreements agreed upon together with the Product Manager.
Your profile

Skills and/or knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, React, SQL and PL SQL;
  • Knowledge of Git or equivalent VCS
Advantageous:
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Bamboo or equivalent;
Language:
  • Fluent in English, the ability to work in French would be an advantage.
Eligibility criteria:
  • You are a national of a
. * You have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Computer Science (or a related field) by the application deadline.
  • Your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor\\\'s or Master\\\'s degree.
  • You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
  • Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
  • Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.

Contract duration: 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
