German Teacher - Middle School Maternity Cover: Full time from January 5 to June 19, 2026

Applicants should have at least 2-3 years of experience teaching German as a foreign language and/or German as a fluent language at the middle school level (grades 6 - 8), preferably in an international school setting. Teaching certification is required and applicants must show evidence of:


German proficiency (minimum C2) Teaching license including specialism Documented record of excellence in teaching BA / BSC or equivalent university degree Understanding of Middle School philosophy and best practice Integration of technology into curriculum Inquiry based pedagogical approach Commitment to ongoing professional development Ability to differentiate for diverse learning needs Good knowledge of written and spoken English Experience using digital technology to support student learning Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and active participation in school life

Very desirable to have:


EDK teaching status recognition for Zurich Experience working in an International School context

This position could potentially continue into the 2026/27 school year as a 40% position.
