Global Compliance Director

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to establish and lead our global compliance function. The Global Compliance Director will design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive compliance program worldwide, covering both Corporate Compliance and Product Compliance oversight.
The role requires a strategic, proactive, and dynamic leader, capable of building frameworks where needed, consolidating and strengthening existing practices, and promoting a strong culture of compliance across the Company.
Core Responsibilities
CORPORATE COMPLIANCE
Lead the Company's global compliance framework, covering:

  • Antitrust / competition law
  • Anti-bribery & anti-corruption (FCPA, UK Bribery Act, Loi Sapin II, Decreto 231/2001, etc.)
  • Anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions
  • Ensuring effective operation of internal reporting and ethics channels
  • Work closely with the ESG function to ensure global alignment with applicable ESG-related laws and standards
  • Data protection and privacy compliance in liaison with the privacy manager and the DPO
Conduct risk assessments, establish and update policies, training, and monitoring:
  • Oversee investigations and ensure effective governance structures.
PRODUCT COMPLIANCE
  • Provide compliance/legal guidance and governance to technical teams responsible for product safety and quality.
  • Ensure global regulations on product safety, labelling, and traceability (including the upcoming digital product passport) are properly identified and implemented.
  • Support policy development, training, and monitoring to embed product compliance into business processes.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory affairs, preferably in fashion, luxury, retail, or consumer goods.
  • Proven expertise in corporate compliance programs (antitrust, anti-corruption, AML, sanctions, whistleblowing, data protection, responsible supply chain).
  • Solid understanding of product compliance frameworks and ability to guide specialized technical teams in addressing evolving regulatory trends (sustainability, traceability, digital product passport).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: able to create frameworks where needed, drive change proactively, and adapt with agility.
  • Assertive, pragmatic, and business-oriented, while also attentive to stakeholder needs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with proven ability to engage senior management and operational teams globally.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
