THE ROLE




On a scope encompassing 20,000 employees and 170 entities, the HR Business Partner collaborates closely with the Global HR Manager to foster strong, trustworthy relationships with local HR teams. Acting as a strategic business partner, the HRBP provides guidance and support on various HR matters and requests. They actively contribute to the design and implementation of new processes across key HR domains, including talent and performance management, training and development, and compensation.


Through effective communication, training, and coaching, the HRBP enhances HR competencies within the regions. They also oversee and coordinate the rollout of policies and programs through the local HR teams, ensuring consistency and alignment.


Additionally, the HRBP is responsible for collecting relevant data and producing ad hoc reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.

YOUR IMPACT




As Global HR Business Partner you will:

Business Partnering:



Maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders at all levels in Geneva and local entities, ensuring projects and activities are delivered on time and with a high-standard. Act as the interface between the Headquarter and the 170 local entities: support the implementation of new guidelines and initiatives, manage the internal communication with all entities, provide them with information when necessary. Serve as a point of contact in the HQ and advise on HR issues or requests.

Project Management:



Participate in designing, implementing and embedding Global HR projects, processes or tools in various HR areas. Take ownership of assigned HR projects with a hands-on approach. Propose all actions to optimize existing tools and improve HR processes.

Data:



Responsible for collecting and monitoring the accuracy of HR data regarding the 20 000 employees on a monthly basis. Produce statistics, prepare HR reports and analyses as well as relevant ratios.

Compliance & Sustainability:



Ensure Global and local compliance related to labor laws and regulations and Human right standard. Provide the entities with advice on social law compliance topics. Participate in writing policies.

Administrative support:





Monitor the organization of the 170 entities (org chart, management team, HRIS implementation....). Track the new entities and ensure their proper onboarding. Inform the requested stakeholders about any major changes.

Recruitment:



Take in charge the recruitment (job post, screening, 1st interviews) or facilitate the candidate selections of key local positions (GM, CFO, HR...).

Compensation & Benefits:



Participate to the global annual salary review process, by implementing guidelines and relevant tools, checking the relevance of the individual allocations alongside the GVA Managers. Guide entities in designing remuneration systems that ensure the desired level of external competitiveness and talent retention.

Communication and People Development:



Create trainings on relevant HR topics to upskills local HRs. Organize ad hoc communication for the MDs and local HRs on a regular basis. Take in charge the onboarding of the new local HRs.

Performance/Talent Management:





Monitor the performance evaluation system for White Collar population. Train the locals HR on the process when necessary. Advise local HRs on performance management for Blue Collar population. Monitor Succession Plan local implementation.

HR System:





Follow the implementation of Global HR systems.

YOUR BACKGROUND



Over 10 years in an HR role, with minimum 3 years' experience in a Cluster/Regional/Global HR Management role. University degree in human resources, legal or relevant field. Experience with multi-site and multi-activity would be a plus. Professional curiosity and tenacity. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a changing environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with multiple stakeholders. Good understanding of employment legislation and regulations. Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices. Knowledge of data analysis and reporting. Service-oriented personality with team spirit. Efficiency, hands-on and results-oriented approach. Excellent English skills (French or Spanish would be a plus).

CONTRACT DETAILS



Based in Geneva. Full-time. Permanent Contract. Starting ASAP. EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit is required.
