We are seeking a highly experienced Global IT Strategic Sourcing Manager to join a leading global industrial technology organization. This role is based in Zurich and offered in a hybrid working model.
This is a contract position, running from January 2025 through July 2026, and is ideally suited for a seasoned sourcing professional with deep expertise in complex IT contract negotiations, strategic vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration on a global scale. You will play a key role in driving major IT sourcing initiatives and securing high-value contracts across multiple technology categories.

Responsibilities:
- Lead complex IT/IS strategic sourcing projects across Software, IT Services, Infrastructure, Hardware, and Communications categories
- Manage the full sourcing lifecycle: engagement, RFQ/RFP, evaluation, negotiations, and contract signature
- Develop negotiation strategies, including target setting, BATNA, governance, risk analysis, and strengths/weaknesses assessment
- Drive major contract negotiations with global technology and service providers
- Partner closely with business owners to support deal structuring and ensure alignment with IT strategy, vendor portfolio, and sourcing roadmap
- Collaborate with internal experts (legal, tax, finance, security, privacy) to ensure contractual, commercial, and compliance accuracy
- Support IT and business stakeholders in aligning sourcing delivery models to business requirements
- Deliver measurable cost savings and contribute to annual IS Sourcing target achievements, including forecasting and reporting
- Provide leadership, communication, and guidance to stakeholders across multiple business units and geographies
- Ensure contract management processes comply with corporate policies and governance frameworks Requirements :
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in supply chain, IT/IS sourcing, contract management, or related fields
- At least 5?7 years of experience in strategic IT/IS sourcing, particularly in Software, IT Services, and Infrastructure
- Proven track record leading complex, high-value sourcing initiatives and negotiating large-scale contracts
- Strong category management experience in software, IT services, or infrastructure
- Solid understanding of contractual, commercial, and legal aspects of IT sourcing negotiations
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle a high volume of contracts
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in an international environment
- Culturally aware and capable of working effectively with global teams
- Fluent English
