The Opportunity:
As Global Process Owner for S&OP and Inventory Management, you will define, govern, and improve end-to-end planning processes that balance demand, supply, and inventory across all regions and business units. The role sets global standards, policies, and KPIs, ensuring consistent ways of working, high data quality, and alignment with strategic and financial objectives, while owning the full S&OP cycle, inventory strategy, supporting systems, and cross-functional collaboration as the single accountable owner worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the global end-to-end S&OP and inventory management framework, including process design, standards, and documentation across all regions and business units.
  • Define and maintain global S&OP and inventory policies, such as segmentation rules, target-setting methods, and parameter governance for safety stocks, reorder points, and lead times.
  • Lead execution and continuous improvement of the full S&OP/IBP cycle (demand, supply, scenario planning, executive reviews) to align with financial plans and strategic priorities.
  • Establish, track, and improve key KPIs for service, forecast accuracy, plan adherence, inventory levels, and obsolescence, driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Act as primary process owner for planning and inventory systems and tools, defining business requirements and prioritizing enhancements to support forecasting and optimization.
  • Govern global process adherence through audit and assessment frameworks, challenging local deviations, ensuring compliance, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration on demand-supply-inventory trade-offs.
  • Sponsor global improvement and capability-building initiatives, including standardization, automation, advanced analytics, training, best practice sharing, and communication of performance, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
  • Extensive, progressive experience in supply chain planning, including leadership of regional and global planning teams.
  • Deep expertise in demand, supply, and inventory planning, with a strong track record implementing IBP/S&OP frameworks.
  • Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge across manufacturing, logistics, and procurement interfaces.
  • High proficiency with advanced planning and ERP systems (e.g. SAP IBP, Kinaxis, OMP, Anaplan, or equivalents).
  • Proven success leading transformation initiatives that optimize planning processes and improve service, cost, and working capital.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, able to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, building high-performing, cross-functional teams and engaging effectively with executive stakeholders; fluent in English, with additional languages and up to moderate travel as assets.
Preferred Experience:
  • APICS certification (such as CSCP or CPIM) demonstrating advanced, globally recognized expertise in end to end supply chain and production planning, and strong command of industry best practices and cross functional collaboration.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent.
Additional Information:
  • This is a permanent, full time position.
  • The position is based in Switzerland or Ireland, Netherlands, UK, Japan or US
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 days per quarter in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
