Your role and responsibilities:

-----------------------------------

To be successful as the Global Product Manager for Pulp and Paper Automation, you will manage offerings throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring alignment with market needs and the division's strategy. You will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of the offering, contributing to business results by overseeing every stage of the lifecycle, including development, launch, go-to-market strategy, pricing, and profitability.

You will develop product strategies and roadmaps based on market trends and competitive analysis. By identifying market needs and trends, you will craft business cases for new product development. Additionally, you will oversee the entire product development process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and deadlines, while collaborating with research and development teams to design and refine products.

A key part of your role will be maintaining a deep understanding of the global market and customer needs, ensuring active engagement in the Product Development Process (PDP). You will work closely with cross-functional teams- such as engineering, sales, marketing, and support - to ensure successful product development and launches. This includes driving communication and collaboration with Customer Centers and key accounts.

You will also be responsible for planning and executing successful product launches, working alongside marketing teams to develop effective marketing strategies and promotional materials. You will create and distribute marketing content related to the business segment, including product information, application references, competitive insights, and more, ensuring it is effectively promoted across digital channels.

Once products are launched, you will monitor and evaluate their performance to assess success and return on investment (ROI). You will continuously analyze product performance and adjust strategies as needed to improve outcomes. Additionally, you will develop and deliver training, seminars, and workshops to enhance organizational knowledge and competence.

Finally, ensuring compliance with international regulations and standards will be essential to guarantee that all products meet required specifications and maintain the highest level of quality.

Qualifications for the role:

--------------------------------

To succeed in this role, you will bring a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, along with 10-15 years of experience, including 3-5 years in product management. International experience is preferred. You will have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, which will be critical in collaborating with global teams and stakeholders.

Your expertise in Pulp and Paper Controls, including knowledge of products, applications, and solutions, will be key to your success. A deep understanding of 800xA products and legacy control systems will be an advantage. Additionally, you should have the ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends, using this insight to drive product development and innovation.

Leadership experience in sales, engineering, and project management, along with strong organizational skills, is essential. The ideal candidate will also possess well-developed communication, influencing, coaching, and leadership skills to successfully collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide product strategy. Your inclination toward innovation and translating market trends into future product and technical requirements will make you a valuable asset to the team.

If you are passionate about driving innovative products and thrive in a collaborative, global environment, we'd love to hear from you!
