Manpower is recruiting for its client Philip Morris International in Neuchatel a Graphic Design Lead.
This is a key role at the heart of developing and maintaining global design guidelines for a portfolio of world-renowned brands.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Manage and direct the development of global Brand Design Guidelines and other relevant design specification documentation with internal and external stakeholders.
This includes business partnering with customers, acting as a key account, and demonstrating technical competence for design-related matters.
Translate Global Marketing concepts and consumer needs into valid and sustainable design solutions to guarantee brand design integrity on a global scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and drive the development of Global Design Guidelines and their design variants in partnership with Global Marketing and ensure seamless execution.
Demonstrate technical competence to develop accurate, legally validated design specifications for our global brands. Direct and guide supporting parties during the development phase.
Ensure timely distribution to key internal and external stakeholders to support global implementation of guidelines.
Ensure complete documentation of project information such as plans, budgets, and resource requirements, and communicate project phase updates in a timely manner to relevant business partners and management to enable streamlined communication flow and fact-based decision-making.
Develop recommendations, alternatives, and improvements to existing processes in line with departmental and company KPIs on cost, time, and agility objectives, while ensuring continuous value creation for our brands.
Provide guidance and training to relevant parties, ensuring that appropriate technical expertise is utilized and transferred to meet resource requirements and departmental goals.
Contribute to the improvement of existing digital tools and lead digitalization projects within your area of expertise.
Promote and apply all PMI Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety rules. Report any situations requiring action to minimize or eliminate risks to personnel, company assets, or societal impact, ensuring compliance with - or exceeding - applicable legal and company standards.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Education:
College/University degree or Federal Certificate (or equivalent) in Graphic Design or a related discipline.
Work Experience:
5+ years of experience in the printing/packaging area and design development with strong technical competence.
Functional Skills:
Excellent communication skills, with strong relationship-building and influencing abilities
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Proven experience in complex problem-solving
Strong collaboration and business partnering mindset
Comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment and managing multiple projects in parallel
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
