Manpower is recruiting for its client Philip Morris International in Neuchatel a Graphic Design Specialist to help shape and safeguard the visual identity of globally recognized brands.
This role is central to developing and maintaining global design guidelines and technical specifications that ensure consistent brand expression across packaging formats and markets.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Lead the development of Global Brand Design Guidelines and related technical documentation in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Act as a key partner to Global Brand and Design teams, translating strategic brand concepts into technically sound, print-feasible solutions that uphold brand integrity worldwide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the creation and evolution of Global Design Guidelines, including packaging design variants, in close partnership with Global Marketing and Brand Building teams.
- Ensure all design specifications are technically feasible, legally validated, and aligned with print production standards across diverse packaging formats.
- Collaborate with prepress, production, and supplier teams to ensure accurate execution of design intent.
- Manage the timely distribution of guidelines and assets to internal and external stakeholders to support global rollout.
- Document project plans, budgets, and resource needs; communicate progress and updates clearly to coordinator, business partners and leadership.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams and external partners on design specifications, print processes, and brand standards.
- Contribute to the optimization and digitalization of design-related tools and workflows.
- Uphold PMI's Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, proactively identifying and addressing risks.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Education: Degree or Federal Certificate in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging design, printing, prepress, or editorial design.
Strong understanding of brand equity, color management, and print production processes is highly valuable. Functional Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to solve complex design and production challenges.
- Strong collaboration and business partnering mindset.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, as well as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
