Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a global team of network engineers, including performance management and on-call support models. Define and execute the global IT/OT network strategy, architecture standards, and roadmaps (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, data centers, cloud connectivity, and OT/ICS networks). Ensure compliance with GxP and relevant cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001). Implement and maintain IT/OT segmentation, zones and conduits, firewalls, NAC, VPN, and secure remote access solutions. Own network operations including monitoring, incident response, problem management, change control, and capacity planning in alignment with ITIL and GMP validation requirements. Manage vendors, service providers, contracts, and SLAs; oversee vendor performance. Lead and support global projects such as site expansions, new facility integrations, SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud network transformations.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 7-10+ years of enterprise networking experience, including leadership of global or multi-site teams. Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices. Strong technical knowledge of routing/switching, firewalling, high availability, OT/ICS networking, and cloud networking. Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, GICSP, or ITIL. Experience supporting manufacturing and laboratory systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC, MES, LIMS, historian systems).
