About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Groups & Events Sales Department in Zurich, the Groups & Events Sales Trainee provides administrative support to the Groups & Events Sales Team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient coordination.
As Groups & Events Sales Trainee, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Administrative duties such as processing inquiries, preparing offers, and maintaining customer data.
Communicating with clients and internal departments to coordinate event details.
Assisting in the preparation and follow-up of events, including creating schedules and guest lists.
Attending meetings and supporting internal project organization.
Collecting and analyzing customer feedback after events.
Supporting the team with general administrative tasks in the Sales & Events department.
As Groups & Events Sales Trainee, we expect from you:
Enrolled as a student in a Swiss hotel management school.
First experience in the hospitality or event industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
Strong organizational skills and good time management.
Communicative, open-minded, and a team player.
Confident use of MS Office and ideally some experience with hotel software.
Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
Independent, structured working style with great attention to detail.
