YOUR TASKS
Lead global team of category managers Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies aligned with overall business objectives Conduct spend analysis, market research, supplier assessments, and demand forecasting to inform strategy Train and guide a global team on the Mediclinic Category Management methodology to ensure consistent global maturity Lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, including market analysis, supplier identification, tendering, and contract negotiations Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, audits, and supplier development initiatives Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align specifications, requirements, and quality standards Establish and lead Category Councils to support structured decision-making and stakeholder alignment Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs to assess category performance and develop improvement measures REQUIRED EDUCATION
Master or Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field Extensive experience (5+ years) in strategic and operational procurement, including product and process standardization as well as supplier bundling in complex environments Strong leadership background in corporate and international settings, including team management and performance coaching Excellent negotiation skills and proven ability to drive change and deliver results Forward thinking, structured and strong communication skills Fluent in German and English
