Key responsibilities:


Partner Recruitment and Relations





Serve as the Institute focal point for partner relations for ARPs, including initial informational meetings; project recruitment and proposal development; regular follow-up and trouble-shooting; and communication and exchange across the project period Design and implement Partner applications, including write up and dissemination of materials, guidelines, video recordings and email exchange relating to the Call for Applications Manage the ARP Partner Application form, analyse responses, coordinate proposal attribution process among the ARP Faculty Leads Finalize partner selection and distribution among ARP Faculty Leads Communicate selection with successful applications; when possible, connect unsuccessful applicants with other partnership possibilities across the Institute (e.g. Careers, C4SI, Centres) Disseminate and collect ARP Partner Charter of Commitments Manage and share ARP Partner logos for Communications and the Direction Ensure project Kick-Off meetings occur smoothly Ensure smooth communication between students, Faculty Leads and Partners across the project period



ARP Teaching Team Management




Support and liaise regularly with 14 ARP Faculty Leads across the academic year, including in the provision of guidance and advice for project management, student engagement, liaison with Service Desk, Human Resources and the MINT Team Recruit and accompany new ARP Faculty Leads Run orientation meetings at the beginning of each ARP cycle Manage the ARP Teaching Team shared Google drive and ensure transparent and systemic information and knowledge resource exchange Review end-of-semester student assessments, generic and by Faculty Lead; follow-up on case-by-case basis to integrate learning and incorporate changes in subsequent ARP cycle Train and manage 7 Teaching Assistants, including in liaison with the MINT Programme Manager and the Direction of Studies (TA Coordinator), in the Autumn semester for MINT317 Liaise regularly with Wellbeing & Health Support Service Write work certificates and letters of reference for ARP Teaching Team members on request



Student management





Brief students on the ARP process, available projects, expected outputs, assessments, professionalism Guide students in the selection process of their preferences, including information sessions, email exchanges and office hours Respond to student questions and concerns across the ARP process Liaise regularly with Student Welfare and Support Maintain weekly drop-in clinics in Spring semester With the Direction of Studies, convene and manage ARP Review Committee With Direction of Studies and assigned supervisor, guide the Independent Projects (9 ECTS in Spring semester) With Direction of Studies, ensure ARP Fieldwork Guidelines are adhered to in projects involving fieldwork



Information management




Manage the student preference selection process (Googleform creation, management, and analysis, with Deputy Head of IT) Collaborate with the Deputy Head of IT for the allocation of projects according to student preferences Allocate students to ARP projects, and, with the Teaching Assistants, notify the Faculty Leads Create and manage the ARP group email address allocation process with Service Desk Liaise with Student Services to ensure grades are entered according to schedule



Communications





Collect 70 final outputs for ARP Catalogue, including confirmation of permission from Partners and Faculty Leads Liaise with MINT Assistant Communication Officer and Comms to ensure upload into the ARP Catalogue Share final outputs with Library for inclusion in ARP Repository Accompany students, Partners and ARP Teaching Team members for interviews and other press and outreach



MINT Team Liaising




Participate in weekly MINT Team Meetings Participate in MINT Committee Meetings Participate in recruitment webinars, orientation meetings, graduation preparation Contribute to MINT Comms



Support to Direction




Participate in bi-monthly External Relations meeting Update Direction on partnerships Provide information for annual and subject-specific reports on request
