Tasks
Lead and support a team of engineers and technicians, fostering mentorship, motivation, and professional development
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes from concept to production handover, ensuring quality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
Collaborate closely with product development, materials engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing engineering to translate requirements into robust and efficient processes
Use data analytics and statistical process control to guide decisions and continuous improvement
Develop and implement a process technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market needs
Requirements
Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field
Minimum 6 years of experience in process engineering, including at least 4 years in a leadership or team management role
Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse, high-performing engineering teams
Significant experience defining high-volume hardware manufacturing processes, including automation of assembly, gluing, and optical inspection
Expertise in DFM, FMEA, Gage R&R, DOE, SPC, CPK, and related statistical modelling techniques, with a proven record of applying them to improve processes
Experience in cleanroom environments is a plus
Strong collaboration, strategic thinking, and planning skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex technical topics clearly
Business fluency in English; German is an advantage
