Work Model: Hybrid
Compensation: 170-190K plus bonus. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Summary
Strategic leader responsible for driving commercial excellence, delivering cost savings, and creating synergies across the global BIB/SP business. This role ensures the seamless integration of procurement data and processes, requiring extensive cross-functional collaboration to standardize procurement data and support the adoption of best practices. Without this position, the organization would face significant challenges in achieving data integration, transparency, and alignment between regional and global procurement strategies. The strategic influence of this job lies in its ability to optimize procurement spend, enhance decision-making, and foster consistency across procurement processes.
Key responsibilities
  • Procurement Leadership: Act as the key procurement interface between the global BIB/SP business and the Global Procurement & Sourcing teams, ensuring data integration and alignment.
  • Commercial Focus: Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize procurement spend, negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, and drive cost savings initiatives to directly impact the P&L.
  • Collaboration with Global Procurement Teams: Foster collaboration with Global Procurement Teams to align regional priorities with broader organizational strategies and ensure consistency in processes and systems.
  • Data Collection and Validation: Lead data collection, validation, and harmonization efforts, ensuring consistency with existing procurement frameworks.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Oversee performance tracking and reporting, ensuring visibility and accountability for key metrics such as savings, supplier performance, and efficiency gains (especially regarding BIB/SP integration).
  • Synergy Creation: Identify and leverage opportunities for synergies across different procurement categories and regions to maximize value creation and cost savings.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply, achieve cost savings, and foster innovation.
  • Standardized Procurement Policies: Facilitate the adoption of standardized procurement policies and processes for BIB/SP within AM-N.
  • Change Management: Drive communication and change management efforts to ensure smooth stakeholder alignment and process integration.
  • Regular Reporting: Provide regular reporting and progress updates to leadership and key stakeholders on BIB/SP procurement integration, highlighting commercial achievements and areas for improvement.
You bring these skills, experience & education
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, data analytics or related field
  • Master's degree (in same fields as bachelor's degree) is a plus but not required
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement and supplier management, with at least 3+ years of leadership experience in indirect procurement
  • Background in change management and stakeholder coordination within a global or regional procurement function
