As the

Head of Product & Lifecycle Excellence

department, you will be a visionary leader elevating operational excellence across the entire Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to ensure seamless product lifecycle management, foster continuous improvement, and champion digitalization initiatives across SI Buildings globally.

Your new responsibilities



Vision & Strategy: Create and execute a compelling vision and strategy for the Product & Lifecycle Excellence department, setting clear guidelines and effectively positioning it within the organization to respond to business requirements. PLM Process Optimization: Optimize product development processes, ensuring efficient workflows and cross-functional collaboration within SI Buildings. PLM Toolchain Leadership: Drive state-of-the-art PLM toolchain adoption and best practices across all product portfolios, lead digitalization initiatives, and ensure high-quality software delivery, promoting DevOps best practices. Strategic Initiatives: Execute strategic initiatives, contributing to organizational priorities, such as culture transformation program, implementation of AI for productivity, and others. Team Development: Build and develop a diverse, high-performing team with a culture of accountability and continuous learning. Cost Management: Actively manage costs, ensuring transparency and adherence to budget.



Your talents and experience



Master's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field Additional certifications in Business Process Management, Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), or Project Management are desirable. Proven experience in leading PLM and ALM initiatives within a global technology company or building infrastructure environment. Ability to translate vision into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes. Strong grasp of DevOps principles and software delivery excellence. Demonstrated success in driving strategic transformation initiatives in a complex cross-functional environment. Experience in organizational development, change management, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Track record of building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams. Strong cost management skills, with a focus on transparency and adherence to budget. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Proactive, resilient, and committed to continuous learning. Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, IBM JAZZ, M365 Suite incl. Copilot). Interest in AI technologies. Fluent in English (German language skills are a plus).
