Context :
Under the supervision of his/her line manager, the Head, Quality, Accountability & Performance is responsible for steering the implementation of the Tdh 2025-2028 objectives in terms of operational quality and accountability including cross-cutting topics, institutional strategy, global processes and steering. He/she coordinates key institutional development projects and contributions to the Tdh international programme submission to SDC.
Main responsibilities:
1. Institutional Strategy

  • Develops and proposes the process, methodology and timeline, and designs the relevant tools
  • Coordinates and consolidates internal contributions in the drafting of the Institutional four-year Strategy under the overall responsibility of the Chief of Staff.
2. Institutional Processes and performance
  • Supervises and manages the institutional projects for the implementation of steering; oversees the new Institutional Planning and Steering Cycle.
  • Ensures their alignment with the organisation's priorities, available resources, the involvement and collaboration of other sectors and management within the team.
3. Operational quality and accountability
  • Operational Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL): defines the strategy and structure, sets reference frameworks, designs, develops and disseminates standards
  • Designs and disseminates the Tdh quality and accountability global framework.
  • Develops and implements the Tdh gender, diversity and inclusion framework.
  • Encourages the sharing of lessons, perspectives, and best practices across the Tdh delegation network. Introduces effective communication mechanisms.
  • Introduces and improves the Tdh operations results framework and its monitoring and tools, supervises the global aggregation of operational data and its analysis for the annual reporting process in coordination with field teams.
  • Core Humanitarian Standard - CHS : aligns Tdh Q&A framework with CHS and launches Tdh in the CHS verification process (self-assessment step1).
4. Project management (planning, design, implementation, monitoring) and supervision (projects that in-volve substantial Q&A contributions)
  • Partnerships & Localization: support the implementation of key institutional priorities in partner-ships and localization.
  • A member of Tdh key projects Steering Committees: Knowledge Management, Innovation, Climate and Environment.
5. Team and sector management
  • Leads and manages the Q&A team; promotes skills, ensures team coherence and interaction with other teams, and fosters innovation and personal initiatives.
  • Drawing up the budget for his/her sector, defining the Plan of Action and ensuring monitoring and accountability.
6. Fundraising and resource development, networking contributes to the Tdh fundraising strategy and Tdh development
  • Contributes to the quality and impact of Tdh fundraising efforts at global, regional, and national level.
  • Develops the organisation's business and interest network; represents the organisation externally.
  • Integrates inter-agency communities of practices, contributes to collaborative resource development and enhances peer learning.
Profile :
  • University degree (BA, MA) or equivalent in a field that is relevant to quality and accountability/AAP issues and to strategic and organizational development projects
  • At least 5 years in a similar position, preferably in the field
  • An excellent ability to draft and represent the organization in French and English, additional languages are an asset
  • Command of MS Office tools
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence (active listening and diplomacy)
  • Flexibility, reactivity, adaptability and pragmatism
  • Rigor, organization, analysis and strategic thinking
  • Training skills
Remuneration:
The annual base salary for this role ranges from CHF 92K to 114K, based on experience.

  • Commits to developing a compliant and enlightened management culture within the organization and in our work with children and the communities in which we operate.
