The Functional and Molecular Imaging Laboratory directed by Prof. Daniel Razansky is home to scientists from diverse disciplines â€“ bioengineering, informatics, physics, biology. Scientific focus is on development of novel bio-imaging methods that can broadly impact biological research and clinical practice by delivering information presently not attainable with existing state-of-the-art imaging modalities. The laboratory is fully affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zurich and the Department of Information Technologies and Electrical Engineering, ETH Zurich. It is also an integral part of the Institute for Biomedical Engineering (IBT) and the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology (IPT). Our research is funded by highly competitive grants from the ERC, NIH, HFSP and other and we take part in multinational consortia to facilitate cutting-edge developments in biology and medicine.
As Scientific and Administrative Coordinator you will be working closely with expert scientists, University administration and funding agencies to provide comprehensive support to our daily operations. Depending on the particular background of the successful candidate, tasks may include organization of scientific events, grant management, aspects of communications and PR, financial and HR management. In this role, your contribution will be of key importance for establishing efficient management processes within the group and greatly contribute to maintaining our high standards of scientific excellence.
University degree â€“ prior experience as a researcher or working in a research
environment is considered a plus

Excellent command of written and spoken German and English
