\\n Head of Talent Acquisition & Apprenticeship

The Head of Talent Acquisition & Apprenticeship will lead the strategic planning, implementation, and management of talent acquisition and the apprenticeship/intern programs. You will partner with country business units and business partners in order to ensure efficient and best in class candidate and hiring manager-centric services that meet the needs of the organization. You will manage apprenticeship/intern impactful training experiences that blend practical experience with classroom instruction. You will stewardship group and impactful initiatives such as Youth Alliance and Global Apprenticeship Network (GAN).

Your key responsibilities
  • Develop and implement country TA programs in :
o implementing recruitment strategies.
o driving the country implementation of our future global TA Target Operating Model.
o managing external TA partner through strong performance and processes/KPI drivers.
o using data on Talent Acquisition to inform and shape our agenda with the HR BP\\\'s and our hiring managers
o ensuring seamless collaboration with colleagues from Talent & Culture, HRSS and HR effectiveness to drive a candidate and employee-centric approach to TA
  • Drive employee onboarding and employee led initiatives to drive and reinforce sense of belonging and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive apprenticeship/intern training program aligned with the organization\\\'s needs and industry standards
  • Coordinate the apprenticeship recruitment process, including advertising, screening applications, and conducting interviews or assessments
  • Establish partnerships with educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations (Youth Alliance and Global Apprenticeship Network -GAN) to attract a diverse pool of qualified apprentices

You bring
  • Bachelor\\\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Training, Human Resources) or equivalent experience. A relevant teaching or training qualification is a plus
  • Proven experience in designing, delivering, and managing apprenticeship training programs
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks, regulations, and funding mechanisms
  • Excellent instructional design and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire apprentices in their learning journey
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively
Important note

This job title is temporary and will be adjusted once the job grading structure for the new Group will be adopted (covering among others: grades\\\' design, job evaluations, calibration, and job titles\\\' nomenclature). Until these adjustments are finalized, current compensation packages will be grandfathered. This temporary period will last not more than 24 months for the legacy DSM Executives or legacy FIR SLT members, and not more than 12-18 months for all other employees.
