Head of Global Test Lab

MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES

Lead a globally distributed lab verification teams structured by different product lines, scientific verification methods and software/data. Define and implement the lab's strategic roadmap in collaboration with the engineering leadership team. Lead and support initiatives such as Lab digitalization, growth of the infrastructure, evaluation of new measurement technology and component testing programs. Global lab performance controlling & reporting based on the defined KPI's. Ensure test standards, safety protocols, and software tools are harmonized globally. Maintain high-quality testing capabilities for new product introductions, supplier qualifications, and customer-specific validations. Act as a key interface between engineering, product management, and field application engineering (FAE) for test-related topics. Lead training and development programs to scale lab competencies globally.

COMPETENCIES & KEY EXPERIENCES

Bachelor's or master's degree in physics, mechanical engineering or related field. 3 to 5 years of professional experience in an international environment leading a technical team. Experience in vacuum and sensing technology, system engineering is preferred. Know-how in the state-of-the-art field programming and data science (eg PLC & Python). Proven skills in developing and implementing new agile processes into a high-tech environment. Personally, you will fit well into our corporate culture and the international matrix organization if you have hands-on work style and like to accomplish tasks fast. Strong English and German language capabilities. Work experience in semiconductors or science environment is beneficial Global travel (5-10%) is required.
