Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
For our Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) Global Business Unit, which is the world's leading manufacturer of laboratory balances, we are looking for the Greifensee location, METTLER TOLEDO's global operational headquarters, for an enthusiastic Head Quality Management and Product Compliance, 100% (all genders)
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
You set medium-term goals in the sense of rolling planning, and you coordinate them with the strategic planning of Laboratory Weighing and other cross divisional stakeholders
You derive the respective annual planning and focus points, and you ensure the management and continuous development of the teams, including personnel planning and personnel development
You ensure and continuously developing comprehensive quality management: promoting preventive and corrective quality management, error culture and continuous improvement
You are responsible for the Product Compliance for Laboratory Weighing as well as the Competence Center Product Compliance (CCPC). Among other things, the periodic update of the Product Compliance Road map is an essential task in terms of relevance and impact of new or changed regulatory requirements
You overlook the Mgmt. System ISO 9001 & 14001 which is designed to be operated efficiently and effectively by a lean team. The scope of this Management System includes all manufacturing units in Switzerland, including associated strategic Business Units, as well as our site in Albstadt (DE)
You collaborate with colleagues from other divisions, units along with the Product- and Process Quality and Product Compliance topics
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
You hold a university degree (ETH/FH) in Engineering, Business or Natural Science with an additional training in business administration preferred
You have at least 10 years of experience with an industrial background, ideally in the field of electrical appliances, devices with software and, or "digital elements" along the whole Product Life Cycle
You gained leadership experience in a larger organization, ideally within an instrument or device industry in a complex matrix organization and a high-performance culture
You have strong and comprehensive quality management, product conformity, data protection and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) understanding with a strong customer orientation
You have solid experience in motivating, developing and driving people in creating new breakthrough ideas
Furthermore, you have fluent communication skills in English and German
