Position Summary
As a Hotel receptionist & Guest Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for providing personalized service and assistance to guests of the Hotel Residence Rive Reine and the Nestle Learning Center. As the first point of contact, you will ensure a seamless and welcoming experience.
A Day in the Life of a Hotel receptionist & Guest Experience Specialist
Rive Reine Hotel Residence

• Smooth check-in and check-out processes
• Make room & restaurant reservations, considering preferences and dietary requirements
• Administrative correspondence by email
• Invoicing of services & payments, collect and check various data
• Communication of daily information and weekly/monthly forecasts to other departments
• Handle safety-related operations, including fire alarm system and access control
• Irregular hotel working hours (including evenings & weekends)

Rive Reine Nestle Learning Center

• Warmly welcome and value guests, ensuring a home-like experience
• Proactively engage with guests to meet their needs
• Provide recommendations and make bookings for local attractions, activities and events; arrange group services and activities for a seamless experience
• Address guest complaints promptly and diplomatically
• Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages related to the Residence and its guests
• Maintain detailed records of guest preferences, requests, and feedback

What will make you successful

• Hospitality degree or equivalent with experience within the hospitality industry

• Confirmed successful experience as receptionist or in a comparable role

• In-depth knowledge of the region, local attractions, events, and services
• Excellent communication and interpersonnel skills
• Proactive, with strong customer service orientation and attention to details
• Ability to multitask and to work independently
• Always maintain high level of confidentiality and privacy
• Flexible, with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Good knowledge in computer tools (Microsoft Office, Protel is an asset)
• Welcoming presence, smiling attitude, open-minded, punctual
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

• Fluency in French and English, any other language as a plus
