PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

In the role of HR Business Partner, you are responsible for handling all HR processes related to our retail operations in daily collaboration with the HR BP F&B at the airport in Zurich. You will oversee various HR tasks including but not limited to Recruiting, L&D and Administration, covering needs of 350+ FTE\\\'s and support our organization\\\'s people strategy aligning with our business strategy. Your pragmatic and result-oriented approach will be key to adjust and remain motivated in a highly dynamic environment.

The position reports to the Head of HR Switzerland.

This role is located in at our Zurich Airport Operations hub. Please note that we can only consider applicants who are either eligible to work in the EU/Switzerland or hold the relevant work permit.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Recruitment: assisting managers with job searches (creating advertisements, pre-selecting and discussing candidates), attending interviews for upper management placements when required
  • Administration: Fully cycle HR administration in a team structure
  • Leadership: Supervision of two HR employees at Zurich Airport
  • Competent expert advice and support in operational HR topics (employer branding, employee retention, absence management, etc.)
  • Contact person for managers & employees in labor law issues
  • Health Management: Identification, processing and monitoring of short-term absences with steering potential. Management of long-term absences in cooperation with external care managers and sales managers, including organization of individual re-integration measures.
  • Separation: Support of managers in the separation of employees
  • Active cooperation and support in conflict situations, problem solving processes as well as team developments
  • Active support in change processes and digitalization in HR
  • Development/Training: Actively support to the L&D Specialist in the introduction and implementation of development and training opportunities
  • Filling corporate culture with life and setting an example on a daily basis
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Further education as HR Fachfrau/mann and/or Bachelor/Master degree in economics, psychology or law
  • Profound understanding of Swiss labor law
  • Business fluent in German & English
  • Relevant operational HR experience (proven track record in recruitment, administration, talent management, payroll, compensation & benefits)
  • Confidence to navigate in a multicultural, diverse working environment
  • Outgoing and flexible mind-set
