SUMMARY OF THE JOB




We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support in all administrative topics and have the lead in the cooperation with our third-party payroll operations. The incumbent of this position will work closely with the HR Business Partner to accommodate all HR related topics in the European Scope (15 countries, apx. 250 employees). The ideal candidate in this HR Generalist role will have a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with external payroll providers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job titles, and employment status. Manage the preboarding process for new hires and internal changes, handling all administrative tasks. Coordinate new hire onboarding. Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, supporting employee relations. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Collect , verify and provide all payroll-related information, including timesheets, attendance records, and employee changes. Oversee payroll data entry, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates or deductions. Address employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and benefits, providing exceptional customer service. Review payroll reports from the provider and ensure accuracy before final approval. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Assist employees with benefits enrollment and changes. Ensure compliance with benefits regulations and handle related documentation. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Prepare and submit required HR reports and documentation. Assist with audits and other compliance-related activities.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - REQUIRED



Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in HR generalist roles with a focus on payroll support . Fluency in German and English, minimum B2 level. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL



In- depth knowledge of payroll processes , tax regulations , and compliance requirements . Experience in working with Workday and SA P

Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze payroll data and HR metrics. Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up on tasks and projects to maintain progress and meet deadlines. Agenda Management: Maintain and manage a detailed and accurate agenda, ensuring all appointments, meetings, and deadlines are tracked and adhered to.
