The role




As a Human Resources Generalist, on a fixed-term contract through December 2026, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations and help improve how the People & Culture team works. You will handle core employee-lifecycle administration, be a first point of contact for colleagues and people managers and contribute to projects that enhance the employee experience.



Your responsibilities will include the following:

Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding and offboarding to contract amendments, social insurance registrations, permit applications, absence management and the registration of accidents and illnesses as well as preparing reference letters and work confirmations. Support the end-to-end recruitment activities from drafting job descriptions to issuing employment contracts, ensuring a smooth and inclusive process. Respond to enquiries about employee benefits and HR policies, providing clear information and escalating when appropriate. Provide pragmatic first-line advice to line managers and employees in line with HR policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with Swiss labour law. Maintain accurate employee data in Personio (HR software) and ensure HR documents and templates are regularly updated, keeping all information accurate and consistent. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate exchange of information related to HR processes. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through process optimisation and automation.

Prepare regular HR reports, statistics and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.

The candidate




You bring experience in a similar human resources role and have a solid understanding of the full employee lifecycle; knowledge of Swiss labour law would be an advantage. You are a confident communicator who provides calm and empathetic support to colleagues, applying sound judgement when interpreting HR policies and guidelines and knowing when to escalate matters appropriately. You are comfortable managing data and documentation in HR systems and always handle confidential information with professionalism and care. You can manage your time effectively, balance multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy. Lastly, you build positive relationships at all levels and treat everyone with respect and equality.
