The main purpose of this role is designing actuators to HVAC segment in the manufacturing company of Johnson Electric in Murten (Switzerland). We\\xe2\\x80\\x99re looking for an independent, autonomous Design Engineer who will contribute to our success by bringing the needed technical expertise to develop best-in-class products.

Your responsibilities will be to:

Design and develop actuators including the related test and assembly fixtures by following the development process to have clear control of timing, cost and performance of the programs

Lead technical development activities based on customer requirements, company standards and design rules

Turn research ideas into technical plans using CAD software

Develop projects by applying Johnson Electric\\xe2\\x80\\x99s production technology (reliability, robustness) while adapting to the company\\\'s digital transformation and automation

Kick-off of solutions for assembly and tests fixtures, and design review of the concepts of them

Follow-up and analyze data from validation

Collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal departments

Write and present regular progress reports for project managers and clients

Write technical documentation, project documents and preparation of projects reviews

Our requirements:

1-3 years of experience from similar environment but fresh graduates are also welcome

Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering

Language skills: language of the company is mainly English (good communication skills spoken and written), otherwise French and/or German

Understanding of design and engineering procedures

Experience in applying latest 3D engineering tools, ideally Unigraphics NX

Independent and systematic working

Autonomous and organized personality with strong problem-solving skills
