Project / Role:

For our client from the finance industry in Bern, to support the system architects in an agile release train, we are looking for an ICT architect (Senior) (Reference N: 924465OK) for planning and designing ICT architectures with different characteristics (e.g. on-premise, from the cloud, service-based) at the corporate, process, service and information levels, taking quality and feasibility into account.

Together with other system architects and troika members, you will help shape the digital transformation and targeted development of our IT landscape as part of the modernization of our non-life insurance business. You will further develop the strategic IT development plan within the domain architecture, thereby contributing to the achievement of the company's strategic goals. As a system architect and part of the troika of an agile release train, you will develop, position, and communicate implementable solution variants at all levels, taking a holistic view. In addition, you will be directly involved in the development of our new, self-developed platform for renewing core processes in the non-life business, which is designed to offer our customers optimally supported, seamless digital experiences.

Main tasks:

Identifying clients' needs and expectations regarding ICT systems and their architectures. Developing solution proposals and decision-making bases based on the recorded requirements Aligning the developed solutions with the domain architecture and the teams involved Develop and update ICT architectures in accordance with the ICT strategy Creating, communicating and maintaining system technical descriptions and overviews Communicating and representing ICT architectures both internally and externally

Requirements:

Required experience as a systems architect (or similar role): at least 5 years. ISTQB Certified Agile Tester Knowledge of the cloud environment and a strong interest in expanding your know-how (desirable) Knowledge of orchestration solutions (desirable)
