IFRS Fund Accountant / Financial Controller

Tasks

Preparation of monthly, quarterly and statutory annual financial statements for the funds / Monitor disbursements, distributions and compensation payments / Control the NAV package / Prepare financial information for fund management, including investment performance reports / Assist in the launch of new investments / Ensure investment returns are in line with expectations / Prepare investment reports for senior management and investors / Business partnering portfolio management and optimize investment returns and investment reports / Support the finance department with ad hoc analysis on specific financial issues.

Requirements

Master or Bachelor in Banking & Finance or Accounting / Experience in the asset management of a bank, in the fund industry or BigFour (fund audit/advisory) / Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and reporting processes in a finance department / Analytical personality with methodical approach / Initiative, accurate and organized personality, who can manage investment projects independently / Interest in multitasking and working with time and expectation pressure / Team player, flexible, resilient, determined and committed / Interest in an international and multicultural environment / Very good communication skills / Flair for software, IT processes and IT systems / Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and databases / German as well as English.
