Inbound and Trade Affairs Specialist - CDD (10 months) m/f/d

We are looking for our new Inbound and Trade Affairs Specialist for a 10-month contract for our site in Vernier.

In this challenging role, you will coordinate import shipments for a large site and monitor related administrative processes from order execution to delivery of goods.

Reporting to the Transport Team Lead, you will:
  • Import administration:
  • Coordination with company partners, customs, truckers, forwarders, and chamber of commerce;
  • Work with customs broker(s) to ensure all required customs clearance procedures and documentation are complied with;
  • Organization and optimization of on site deliveries;
  • Check conformity of import documents for correct values, commodity classi\\xef\\xac\\x81cations, tari\\xef\\xac\\x80 codes and authorizations, and record in SAP;
  • Help create reports or records concerning potential or veri\\xef\\xac\\x81ed matters of non-compliance;
  • Assist with internal or external audits;
  • Validation of suppliers invoices;
  • Creation and following of export and import licenses, CITES, drug precursors permits, EUR1;
  • Maintain records of import, KPI, customs documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Keep current with local import/export regulations.
Your success profile includes :
  • Supply chain diploma;
  • English and French fluency;
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in shipping/logistics in a manufacturing environment;
  • Knowledge of EAO;
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse process inbound and outbound flow;
  • Proficiency shipping and receiving regulations and protocol;
  • Knowledge of transportation supplier landscape;
  • Solid IT skills (SAP preferred, MS Office, GTS);
  • Expertise in regulations applicable to import/export;
  • CI mindset.
