<text>We are looking for a new Indirect Tax Manager who will support on-going business activities of the entire Bolt organisation (50+ countries) as well as the business expansion in a compliant manner.

You will work closely together with the rest of the Tax Team, Finance Team, Commerce Team, Treasury Team, Legal Team, Internal Audit Team and other functions which are part of the CFO team as well as our business verticals.

Your daily adventures will include :

  • <point>Develop the Bolt Indirect Tax Function - Covering all aspects of Indirect Tax with a focus on optimising our Indirect Tax set-up for each country where we operate, ensuring that the cost of Indirect Tax on our P&L is minimised while always compliant. Further be closely engaged in analysing the optimal Indirect Tax set-up pro-actively as part of the expansion preparation.</point>
  • <point>Manage external Indirect Tax service providers - as well as - in cooperation with Accounting - oversee Indirect tax compliance providers and liaise with our statutory auditors PWC on Indirect Tax matters.</point>
  • <point>Tax Audits - Manage Indirect Tax part of tax audits globally in close corporation with the rest of the Tax Team colleagues</point>
  • <point>Financial Audit - Provide analysis of Uncertain Tax Positions related to Indirect Tax to ensure accurate information in our Financial Statement concerning Indirect Tax</point>
  • <point>Educate and support the Accounting Team - in filling and reporting Indirect Taxes where needed</point>
  • <point>Policy & Strategy - Support the development of the Indirect Tax Policy & Strategy, procedures and controls. (potentially SOX controls) including relevant supporting documentation.</point>
  • <point>Update on Indirect Tax Law - as it develops and changes in the countries where Bolt is conducting its business</point>

What we are looking for :

  • <point>Relevant Masters degree with 5+ years of relevant tax experience, including in public accounting and a publicly listed company</point>
  • <point>Good English communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex matters with simplicity and clarity to non-experts across the company</point>
  • <point>Excellent knowledge of tax accounting and financial statement disclosures for taxes</point>
  • <point>Ability to research and communicate complex technical tax issues clearly to non-tax team members and work effectively across functional teams and senior leadership</point>
  • <point>Very strong knowledge of Indirect Tax law at a high technical level</point>
  • <point>Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment</point>
  • <point>Effective interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and oral communication skills</point>
