Candidate profile (text) - Default language As an Interior Design Co-Worker, you will design relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial interior solutions that contribute to the positioning of the IKEA brand in the local market as a leader in home living.

  • You have a design education, a passion for home furnishings and a curiosity and understanding of people's everyday lives at home.
  • You are a creative mind with strong commercial acumen and an eye for aesthetics.
  • You actively seek to improve your working methods in a simple, lean and cost-effective way.
  • You take a pragmatic approach to your tasks and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are computer literate and have knowledge and experience with CAD software.
  • You have good language skills in German, English is a plus.
  • You are willing to work from Monday to Friday and as well on Saturdays from 7am-4pm
Key responsibilities (title) Your responsibilities
Key responsibilities (text) oYou will contribute to establishing the IKEA store as the leading home furnishing destination in your local market.
  • You use your knowledge of home furnishings to create solutions in room settings, homes, vignettes and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity.
  • You actively contribute to gathering insights from home visits and translating this knowledge into locally relevant, functional and aesthetically pleasing home furnishing solutions that exceed customer expectations and reflect the IKEA approach to home furnishing.
  • You contribute to creating a showroom matrix that reflects a wide variety of styles, living situations and price levels, creating distinct visual impressions at a good tempo.
  • You ensure that all range presentation solutions are planned and implemented with high quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost consciousness, using global tools and best practices.
  • Applying your home furnishing knowledge to ensure up-to-date room settings and other store media that exceed our visitors' expectations.
  • Stimulating and increasing the interest for home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store frequently.
  • Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support and co-worker areas.
