WHAT'S THE ROLE?


Kickstart your career by helping us innovate power tools! We're seeking an intern who is eager to dive into lithium-ion battery technology, leveraging chemistry and electrochemical understanding to create safer, more efficient lithium-ion batteries. You'll gain hands-on experience working at Hilti as part of our battery research team, actively supporting our research projects




Start date is flexible and depends on your availability. Full-time with minimum of 6 months.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?


You'll be part of our interdisciplinary battery team, working on the latest lithium-ion battery technology. You'll work closely with our experts focusing on battery research and development. Your key responsibilities involve different tasks within the following topics: investigation of latest commercial Li-ion cells, improving our current testing methods, conducting advanced experimental tests, and analyzing and reporting your findings.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:





Pursuing a Bachelor or master's degree in chemistry, materials science or similar during the entire internship period. Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting is required (e.g., working with gloveboxes). Basic electrochemistry understanding and initial experience in data analysis (e.g., MATLAB) would be beneficial. Fluency in English is required. Demonstrated enthusiasm for contributing to a dynamic and stimulating international team. Troubleshooting skills and a self-reliant personality are highly valued.
