The Team




Our Corporate Finance team is an emerging practice with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong ambitions for rapid growth. We are currently looking for an Intern to join our team in Zurich.


You will have the opportunity to work on international projects and be involved across the entire transaction lifecycle. You will be part of deal execution in sectors such as Consumer, Healthcare, Business Services, Technology, Real Estate, Energy, and Sports.


At A&M Corporate Finance EMEA, our unique delivery model ensures that junior team members gain direct exposure to Managing Directors and Senior Directors, allowing for accelerated learning and career development. As an Intern, you will work closely with experienced team members and gain valuable on-the-job training across a wide range of assignments.


We are seeking a

Corporate Finance / M&A Intern

to become part of our DACH team in Zurich, starting immediately or as mutually agreed, for a duration of 6 months. This position offers the chance to actively contribute to all aspects of transaction processes while learning directly from experienced professionals.

How you will contribute



Support the execution of M&A and corporate finance projects, including financial modelling, valuation (DCF, LBO, trading and transaction comparables) and strategic analyses Assist in the drafting of marketing materials such as teasers, information memorandums, management presentations and pitch decks Conduct comprehensive market, industry and company research across a range of sectors Perform buyer and investor screenings and build detailed buyer/investor lists Support due diligence processes on both buy- and sell-side transactions, as part of integrated deal teams

Qualifications



Outstanding academic track record in finance, economics, business, or a related field (final year bachelor's or master's student preferred) Previous internships in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, or transaction services are highly valued, but not a requirement Demonstrated interest in financial advisory, corporate transactions and solid understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and M&A processes Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial research databases and tools (Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.) Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset Fluency in German and English is essential; Swiss German or French is a plus
