Contract Duration: 6 months extendable to 11 months

About the team you are joining



The Digital Communications Intern will be attached to the IATA's Corporate Communications Department, with responsibilities on social media support and analysis while having some basic responsibilities over the web. This is a great opportunity for a young communications or marketing graduate to practice digital communications in a demanding and highly professional environment in addition to experiencing fast-paced teamwork.



What would be your main tasks?


Create qualitative social media content to support the Corporate Communications team in its purpose to feed IATA's Corporate Social Media channels


Produce regular reporting on the performance of IATA's Corporate Social Media channels as well as for specific campaigns for internal clients


Social listening, monitoring of online debate and working with the Corporate Communications team to respond to queries and comments


Observation and recommendation of popular social media trends that could be applicable to our industry


Create or edit web content as needed



We would love to hear from you if you meet these criteria:



Recent graduate in Communications or a related field of study, or a student expected to graduate within one year, with excellent communication and analytical skills.

At ease with technology, notions of HTML an asset

Experience of web communications, blogging or social media

Experience with social media analysis, social listening and social media impact evaluation


Experience creating memorable social media posts tailored to multiple channels


Native or highly proficient English speaking and written skills


While the following would be considered an advantage:


Experience in video production/editing (Adobe Premiere Pro / Adobe After Effects / Final Cut Pro / Apple Motion)


Proficiency in graphic design is a plus (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).

Knowledge of any other language would be an asset.
