You investigate material stability by testing under accelerated aging conditions to simulate long-term performance.
Sorbent Characterization:
You characterize sorbent behaviour by measuring unary and binary isotherms under controlled conditions.
Independent Work:
You work independently on targeted work packages to understand how material properties influence DAC performance.
Method Development:
You contribute to the development, refinement, and validation of experimental methods to ensure reliable and reproducible testing outcomes.
Documentation & Communication:
You validate, troubleshoot, and clearly document your work to ensure effective communication across interdisciplinary development teams at Climeworks.

You have a bachelor's degree and/or are working towards a master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or similar.
Technical Skills:
You enjoy working hands-on in the lab, and you have some classroom or other experience with any of the following: characterization of porous materials (N? adsorption, Hg porosimetry, DVS, etc.), adsorption characterization (breakthrough testing).
Additional Knowledge:
Familiarity with CO? capture is beneficial but not required.
Mindset:
You are eager to learn new concepts, skills, and tools that you might need to complete your assignments.
Working Style:
