Internship Opportunity - Inventory Analysis & Process Improvement
Location: Rolle, Switzerland
Work Mode: On-site presence required (regular attendance at the office)
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Start Date: ASAP
Eligibility: Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student throughout the internship period
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Supply Chain Intern to join our team for a 6- to 12-month internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of inventory management, production planning, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to daily operations and some improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders including Forecasting, Production Planning, Sales, Quality, and Formulation teams to support daily operations related to production execution and transport booking.
Analyze inventory data to identify risks of stock obsolescence and expiry.
Propose, implement, and monitor action plans to mitigate expiry-related risks and reduce associated costs.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the improvement of planning and supply chain processes by:
Formalizing roles and responsibilities (RACI matrices).
Mapping and documenting processes.
Creating user guides and supporting documentation.
Participating in tool testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Profile
Currently pursuing a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of ERP systems, data analysis tools, and APS solutions (e.g., DynaSys, QAD, O9, Kinaxis) is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Proactive, well-organized, and eager to contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Fluent in English and French.
