The opportunity

The design of high voltage (HV) devices, such as gas circuit breakers (CB), requires - among others - the prediction of the dielectric withstand as well as switching performance. The research activities in the area of gas circuit breakers are enhanced by various computer-aided-engineering tools and IT technologies. The aim of the internship is to carry out simulations, perform experimental data post-processing and analysis using in-house tools in order to improve the accuracy of the simulations. The superior goal is the achievement of high-end quality and performance of the final product. The duration of the internship is 12 months.

Enrolled in engineering or physics studies Strong organizational and teamwork skills Creative and able to work independently Knowledge of MS Office, Python, and MATLAB Fluent in English, written and spoken
