Internship in Global Trade Solutions (6 months, starting in January 2026)

This position will be based in Geneva for a duration of 6 months.

YOUR TEAM

Trade Finance and Working Capital Management

As a key pillar of CIB - Transaction Banking, Global Trade Solutions (GTS) is BNP Paribas' Trade Finance and Working Capital Management franchise. GTS is a global network of more than 300 experts providing a wide range of tailored solutions.


As an international leader in the field, GTS aims to optimize, secure and/or finance international trade transactions with a complete range of Traditional Trade products and services (including Trade-related guarantees, letters of credit, etc), as well as Working Capital Management structures (including receivable discounting, supplier financing and inventory management).

YOUR WORK DAY

Participate in the elaboration of primarily Traditional Trade transactions, working alongside Marketers, including elaboration & review of pitches and/or RFI/RFPs
Participate in the crafting of memos and business green-lights requests, including assessment of profitability metrics, running pricing/GRR models and seeking relevant credit and capital approval
Support the team with various business management and project management initiatives including preparation of ad-hoc reporting, follow ups, tracking sheets and minuting
Participate in internal meetings with Marketers and Coverage Officers to establish client development road maps
Participate in operational aspects of new transactions
Join the digital community to spread best practices in terms of digitization of trade finance business, help GTS trade managers to pitch/onboard clients on our digital channels solutions
Support the organization of client events

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor Degree in Banking/Economics/Finance or equivalent, enrolled at the university for the Master programme
A strong interest in the area of International Trade
Strong written and oral communication skills, fluency in English, French and/or German is an advantage
Positive mindset, well organized and keen to work in an international environment
Eager to learn, fast learner, analytical and critical thinker
Proficiency in Ms Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote)
