Environmental monitoring is about monitoring in clean rooms and clean utilities for physical, chemical and microbiological impurities. Ensuring that those parameters are in specification is necessary to produce pharmaceutical products.
Our department for enviromental monitoring is dedicated to driving innovation and continuous improvement. Successful innovation projects are implemented through close collaborations with different departments. This internship focuses on optimizing the efficiency of monitoring processes, streamlining operations, and enhancing overall quality.

What you will do:

• Gain a thorough understanding of current procedures in organizational procedures in technical areas, clean rooms, and microbiological laboratories and drive the identified improvements.
• Plan and execute the optimization processes in the environmental monitoring department.
• Supervise the correct implementation of the improvements by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• Communicate and execute the plans of improvement together with the key stake holders.

What we are looking for:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 12 months) from a Life Sciences, (Micro-)Biology, Pharmacy, or related program (FH/BSc/MSc/Diplom)
• Foundational knowledge of microbiology
• Fluent in German and English
• Skilled in data analysis using Excel, R-Script, or Python
• You are communicative, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• You enjoy solving efficiency-related challenges and contributing to a collaborative, dynamic environment.
• You are proactive to acquire information quickly, engaging with both challenges and successes, and bringing value to a young and innovative team
