Internship - Replatforming Money Market Order Management for GX Wealth Management
Join the Wealth Management Technology department and contribute to the replatforming of a key front-office application: the Money Market Order Management system to manage fiduciary deposits, term deposits, and repo agreements for private banking clients.
This initiative is part of the strategic evolution of the GX Wealth Management platform, a modular, web-based ecosystem used daily by Bankers and Investment Specialists to manage client portfolios, execute orders, and deliver tailored investment advice. Bankers invest millions in assets daily into highly liquid money market contracts generating interest income while providing flexibility to private clients.
YOUR ROLEYour goal is to rewrite and integrate the money market order workflows into GX ensuring seamless user experience, improved maintainability, and tight integration.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on a real-world financial product that directly supports money market investments, helping clients manage liquidity and short-term returns.
Design and develop Angular-based UI components for order entry, validation, and tracking
Reimplement and integrate into Java backend services for order lifecycle management.
Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to ensure regulatory and operational requirements are met.
Participate in testing, deployment, and feedback cycles within an Agile/Scrum team.
YOUR PROFILEMaster's student or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Financial Engineering
Strong interest in financial instruments, banking operations, and enterprise software design
Solid knowledge of Java and web development fundamentals (Angular)
Willingness to learn or experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion
Good communication and collaboration skills
Fluent in English (French is a plus)
Resident in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
