Investment Associate - Private Equity
The Investment Analyst/Associate is part of the team that manages the Schroders Capital European private equity portfolio.
What you'll do
Execute due diligence / make investments in European private equity (direct/co-investments, primaries and secondaries) for Schroders Capital own funds and mandate clients
Further the direct investment strategy of the firm
Analyse, assess and make investment recommendations
Conduct industry research and develop insights relevant for European investments
Support the preparation of quarterly reports and investment updates for Schroders Capital investors
Support preparation of client pitches and requests
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
Proven financial experience; 2 - 6 years working in direct private equity investing, investment banking, corporate finance or financial consulting
A very good degree in Natural Sciences, Economics, Finance or Business Administration from a reputable university ideally combined with a postgraduate training (CFA or CAIA)
Sector specialization is an advantage
Excellent command of English and German language, another European language is a plus
