Your role

As Investment Strategist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are an integral part of the CIO Office team, the investment center for multi asset portfolio management mandates and contribute with ideas for strategic and tactical asset allocation and communicate them to internal as well as external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare input for investment process and investment committee and contribute significantly on cross-asset class investment views to be implemented in private and institutional mandates
• Conduct research on cross-asset topics which are key for investment process and complement in-house research
• Contribute to publications on topical themes within asset allocation and portfolio analysis, help in communicating and presenting strategy views to clients
• Provide on demand asset allocation advice for customised client solutions

Your profile

• Master in economics or finance with interest in quantitative methods
• CFA/AZEK is a plus
• 3-5 years of practical experience in the field of Investment management or research
• Detailed understanding of drivers of financial markets, especially equities, bonds, currencies and alternatives
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills; knowledge in Python / VBA is an advantage
• Good analytical skills, especially in financial market analysis and risk management
• Strong work ethics, integrity and high level of accountability
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in German and English, fluency in French is a plus
