The IIHF is looking for a motivated and skilled IT Application Manager to join its Technology Department. This position focuses on maintaining and improving the IIHF's IT environment, managing and optimizing business applications, and providing advanced technical support (2nd level). The role combines hands-on technical work with responsibility for ensuring stable, secure, and efficient operations of the IIHF's IT and application landscape, while also being involved in, and potentially leading, digitalization and IT-related projects. The IT Application Manager reports directly to the Technology Director and executes the following tasks:
Key Responsibilities
Manage, maintain, and enhance the IIHF's IT infrastructure and business applications
Administer Microsoft 365 environment (user management, security, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
Act as key contact for application users, ensuring smooth operation and user support (2nd level)
Coordinate with software and service providers, including license and contract management
Plan, coordinate, and implement IT and application-related projects
Ensure IT security, compliance, and proper system documentation
Collaborate with and assist the Technology Director in miscellaneous tasks
Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a dedicated and open-minded team player with good technical and social skills, who brings the following requirements:
Completed IT education or equivalent experience in IT systems or application management
Experience in Microsoft 365 administration (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune)
Strong understanding of business applications and digital workflows
Proven experience in IT support and user enablement (2nd level)
Solid understanding of IT security, cloud environments, and data management
Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is an asset
High sense of responsibility
Strong communication skills with a positive, motivated and service-oriented attitude
