IT Desktop Support Technician (German-speaking)
For our client, an innovative and dynamic bio-pharmaceutical company covering multiple therapeutic areas, committed into delivering products on the market over the next 5 years, we are looking for an IT Desktop Support Technician for a permanent position based in Basel, Switzerland.
Main Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop infrastructure support to local and regional business partners
• Manage and support endpoint devices including desktops, laptops, and iOS devices
• Deliver hands-and-feet support for infrastructure teams and ensure proper escalation
• Assist with asset management and maintain accurate IT inventory
• Coordinate with vendors, internal departments, and senior management for effective service delivery
• Ensure compliance with internal Information Security Policies and GxP qualification standards
• Participate in local and regional IT project coordination
• Maintain documentation related to equipment disposal and ensure timely handling

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
• 7 - 9 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure services, or desktop management
• Solid understanding of network configurations, IT systems, and common enterprise hardware/software
• Experience in working with senior stakeholders and end-user support
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
• Familiar with data center environments and local project execution
• Fluency in English and good German skills required
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
