If so, the following job as IT Manager at our client in Bern could be the right next step for you. As IT Lead you would work closely with the business to gather requirements and translate them into actionable plans. Your responsibilities as IT Manager are summarized in the below:

- Design and build platform-supported processes for finance and the commercial teams
- Responsible for running and operating the IT Service Desk function for employees.
- Manage IT-related vendors, suppliers and third parties. Negotiate contracts and optimize cost.
- Responsible for entire digital infrastructure end-to-end (network, cloud, end-point devices, servers,
back/recovery, applications, PaaS services, security)
- Plan and manage IT budget considering all internal and external costs. Deliver within budget.
- Partner with stakeholders and support alignment across departments/business units
- Provide business value perspective when developing end-to-end business cases
- Data model ownership and vision for continuous improvement
- Develop new processes and features based on current systems or new technology becoming available.
- Ensure compliance of operations to group and local IT policies
- Protect the company from cyber security risk and exposure. Implement security protection systems and
integrate closely with group IT security.
- Ensure patching & updates of all digital components at priority as indicated by security risk
- Support service engineers with design and decision-making. Serve as backup to engineers and
developers
- Design architecture for new business solution requests based on traditional and cloud technology
- Ensure prioritization of portfolio in agreement with the organization and manage available resources.
- Deliver a digital strategy for company aligned with the company\\\'s global strategy. Deliver, execute and deploy.
- Integrate business functions into IT transformations.
- Manage daily activities and system tasks of the team to meet expected timelines (application of sourcing principles & policies, and attainment of SLAs, customer service standards and team goals)
- Build & maintain relationships with the IT organization. Communicate global IT strategy to management and teams. Establish working relationships in global functions, e.g. IT Security, IT Group Risk and Compliance; IT Cross Divisional Finance, and Global software asset management.

Technical skills needed for this role:

- 3+ years of people management as supervisor/leader
- Good knowledge of data management systems, Master data management and data processing /ETL
- In-depth knowledge of the main MS Office applications, particularly Excel and MS Access
- Proficiency in Oracle database and Oracle APEX programming and architecture
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and VBA (for example: to build queries, add, modify, and delete data;
create and maintain tables, query and update databases using SQL statements, etc)
- Excellent communication skills both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails,
letters, reports, presentations) to various audiences (work groups, team, company management,
prospective acquisitions, external clients)
- Experience in Cloud services

Soft skills:

- Ability to articulate a clear vision and represent it convincingly.
- Self-starter, strategic thinker, with an innate sense of when strong hands-on management is required but
at the same time capable of being a team player in every respect.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- Strong overall technical knowledge in end-point, cloud, and application architecture.
- Effective team building and management and problem-solving skills.
