Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the conceptual design and development of IT architectures in the space sector
• Design, implement, and operate IT infrastructures for highly secure and mission-critical applications
• Analyze and validate technical requirements in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Ensure the availability and maintenance of development, testing, and production environments, including associated network infrastructures
• Evaluate, select, and integrate hardware systems and software components
• Define system configurations and integrations, with a focus on subsystems such as data centers, virtualization, and IT security
• Actively contribute innovative ideas and solutions to enhance system stability and performance
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

• Degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
• Several years of professional experience as a DevOps or Systems Engineer, ideally within the space industry
• Solid understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems, as well as network technologies
• Knowledge of virtualized server architectures is a strong asset
• Familiarity with space-related technologies such as TMTC and onboard computer systems is a plus
• Hands-on mentality with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent self-organization and a solution-oriented mindset
• Valid EU or Swiss work permit and no entries in public registers (due to required security clearance)
