Your role

As a Java Software Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are designing, developing and maintaning functionality. As well as providing high quality service to our internal and external clients to streamline the applications, which support their tasks and digitization of our processes.

Your responsibilities

• Analyse client requirements and design solutions based on our frameworks, as well as continously develop these frameworks
• Implement, test, and document agreed solutions
• Take over certain project management tasks in the area of development
• Maintain our platforms and provide 3rd level support

Your profile

• Higher education (University/FH) in Computer Science
• 4+ years of practical experience as a Full-Stack Developer (Java Based)
• Experience with web technologies, such as HTML and modern Java-Script Frameworks
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools (e.g. CI/CD, Azure DevOps) and agile methodologies is beneficial, Quarkus know-how is a plus
• Ability to weight problems and set priorities
• Strong team player, who can contribute to the team and has a hands-on independent working style
• Fluency in English is a must, fluency in German is a plus
