As a (Junior) Accountant you will support the proper management of financial accounting and be responsible for various tasks within the finance team. Your main tasks will include:
- Effective management of accounts receivable
- Close coordination with customers to clarify open queries and requirements (incl. dunning)
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (incl. consolidation)
- Preparation of tax documents (e.g. VAT statements)
- Administrative responsibilities in human resources
- If suitable, also support in the area of planning and reporting
- Apprenticeship or studies in business, accounting or finance; Swiss accounting clerk certificate would be an advantage
- At least two years of professional experience in a comparable function
- Sound knowledge of Swiss accounting standards OR, experience in consolidation and Swiss Gaap FER of advantage
- Fluent English is a must, very good German skills are preferred, other languages are an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office and affinity for accounting and ERP systems, practical experience with Sage/Infoniqa an advantage
- Open, versatile, open-minded character with a friendly and committed manner
- Motivated personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Quality-oriented mindset with a structured, reliable and responsible way of working
