Optiml is revolutionizing real estate with our Real Estate Decision Intelligence (REDI) software--a new category of AI-powered technology that helps decarbonize buildings while optimizing asset & portfolio performance.

Tasks
As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will:

• Build and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript
• Help turn UI/UX designs into responsive, performant interfaces
• Work with teammates to integrate backend APIs
• Participate in the full development lifecycle: planning, coding, testing, and iteration
• Collaborate on code reviews, architecture discussions, and product improvements

This is an on-site role in our Zurich office -- ideal if you enjoy working closely with a small, dynamic team.
Requirements
Who We're Looking For
You are a motivated, early-career developer who:

• Has 1-3 years of professional experience or is a recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field
• Can write clean JavaScript/TypeScript and has practical experience with React (projects, internships, coursework, or early career)
• Understands the basics of component architecture, state management, and responsive design
• Is eager to learn -- you build things, ask questions, and take ownership of your growth
• Communicates clearly in English and collaborates well with others
• Can work physically from our Zurich office

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Interest in UI/UX design principles
• Exposure to backend APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Some personal or academic experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest)
