The Opportunity

As a Junior Project Manager in Primary Engineering, you will be responsible for planning and executing gas-insulated switchgear projects from technical detailing to on-site assembly support. You'll collaborate with customers and internal teams to define solutions, manage communication, and ensure timely delivery within budget. This role offers hands-on involvement in material ordering, quality improvement, and occasional travel for customer meetings or site visits. How you'll make an impact

Project planning and technical detailing of gas-insulated switchgear, including preparation of all necessary documents for order, fabrication, assembly and customers Discussion of technical solutions with customers and internal stakeholders Management of all technical communication channels internally as well as externally Project execution and ordering of required material including necessary configuration Responsibility for project costs, deadlines & scope of delivery Detailed elaboration of quality cases and improvement processes Technical support of the project until completion of on-site assembly Occasional travel to customer meetings or site visits

Your background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD), SAP, and other engineering tools is advantageous Able to assist in developing project schedules, tracking progress, and supporting various phases like production, transportation, installation, and testing Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to identify and escalate issues effectively Comfortable working in international teams and collaborating across departments Fluent in English, additional languages (e.g. German, Spanish, French) is a plus
